Our hosting partner was registered in the UK in 2014, but all the projects are based in and around Arusha, Tanzania. Volunteer to work with a sports education team empowering underprivileged and deprived children in the community in football, Yoga and physical education.
This project focus is on empowering children between ages 5 and 13 years old through sports and physical education. The initiative is aimed at encouraging their development through sports by encouraging team work, discipline and physical health. This is a vital community service provides free sports education and sports clubs to primary schools and pre-school centres.
Problem statement: The children require a lot of support and stimulation to learn through play and social interaction. Many of the children have special needs, disabilities and come from disadvantaged homes. These activities keep a lot of the children off the streets and focused on extracurricular activities where they can join teams, play with others and achieve their goals.
Goal: Share knowledge and share areas of mutual concern. Build and share skills.
