This project focuses on empowering women and girls as well as boys/men through education, vocational skills training, entrepreneurship, and community leadership development, in close collaboration with a Vocational Training Center. A core component of this project is vocational training in clothing making, tailoring, and fashion design.
Here, girls and young women as well as boys/men are trained in practical skills such as sewing, pattern making, garment construction, textile selection, quality control, and basic design techniques. Women and girls are the backbone of families and communities, and strengthening their skills and economic independence plays a crucial role in sustainable social and economic development. These skills offer direct pathways to income generation, self-employment, and small business development, which are especially important in rural areas with limited formal employment opportunities.
Goal: To enhance design skills, production quality, and sustainable income opportunities.
