Land of impressive nature, rich culture and social challenges. Our partner organizations are mainly located in the vicinity of the wonderful Victoria Falls on the border with Zambia. Zimbabwe is a country of exceptional biodiversity: from wildlife in large national parks to ancient botanical reserves. You can spot elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes and many bird species. Popular parks include:
- Hwange National Park - the country's largest refuge, famous for elephants and buffalo
- Matobo National Park - granite rock formations, petroglyphs, rhino conservation
- Mana Pools - UNESCO World Heritage Site, waterholes full of hippos, crocodiles, elephants

Supervision and guidance:
Roel is your contact person for Let’s Go Zimbabwe. He lives in the Netherlands, from where the preparation for your trip will be done. Roel has many years of living and working experience in Africa. Supervision and guidance in Zim is provided by reliable staff from Let’s Go Africa’s partner organizations. We work together with qualified professionals at Bachelor and Master level, who assist you with your project and your study assignments.
Introduction:
The project organization in Zimbabwe is informed in advance about your arrival with personal information, preferences, project plan, arrival date and duration of your stay. The partner organization and your supervisor in Zimbabwe take you to your home/workplace on arrival and ensure suitable working and living conditions. The first days you will be shown around and they will introduce you to the local lifestyle, culture and make you feel welcome, safe and comfortable during the rest of your stay.

You can stay close to your project in a volunteer house or apartment. Contact us for the options and costs.
